Mason Mitchell Motorsports General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 Pre-race

STATESVILLE, North Carolina – From the shortest track on the ARCA schedule the Elko Speedway, to one of the biggest tracks on the schedule the Pocono Raceway.  Kyle Weatherman returns behind the wheel of the No. 78 Turn One Condos Chevrolet for Mason Mitchell Motorsports this Friday in the General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200. Weatherman will make his fourth start at the “Tricky Triangle” located in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Before the race, Weatherman and the No. 78 team will participate in the open test Wednesday to prepare for the 80-lap event.

The Wentzville, Missouri native started on the pole last August at Pocono. Weatherman led five laps en-route to earning his first top-five finish at the 2.5-mile track.

Driver Kyle Weatherman Quotes:

“Pocono is one of hardest big tracks to get around which makes it very fun and challenging. We’re looking forward to heading to Pocono. We’ve been working nonstop on this car and hopefully we can find a good balance Wednesday in the test session.”

“It’s very difficult to get in a rhythm because the corners are so different from one another. It makes it very fun and challenging to do for 80 laps. Normally it's hard to find a perfect balance but normally you can get turns one and three pretty close.”

“It seems like whenever we come to Pocono it normally comes down to a fuel mileage race. Saving fuel is very important. The best I've found to do it lift a few car lengths earlier and depending on if your racing cars around you still you can go to only 3/4 throttle and that helps as well.”

Chassis Information: Weatherman will race chassis No. 593 out of the MMM stable. The chassis has 11 starts, most recently last August at the Berlin Raceway. The chassis has one win (Chicago 2014), four top-five’s and seven top-10 finishes.

MMM Stats at Pocono: MMM has eight starts at Pocono dating back to their first season in ARCA in 2014. The team earned the pole for the 2014 August race with Mason Mitchell behind the wheel.
