Mason Mitchell Competes in 57th Annual Vermont Milk Bowl

West Des Moines, Iowa – 25-year-old Mason Mitchell returned to the seat of the No. 22vt Chevrolet. This was Mitchell’s second attempt at racing the Milk Bowl, competing in 2018 as his only prior start at the Thunder Road Speedbowl located in Barre Vermont.

“Racing in such a prestigious event is an honor, this race became a bucket list item over the years and I was fortunate to compete in the event again this year”

After starting 24th in the event Mitchell made some gains early in the first segment. As the second segment began unfortunately a cut right front tire sent Mitchell into the turn one wall and was collected with other cars to end his day.

“This race has always been a unique race to compete in. I was privileged this year to have the opportunity that I did. We had a strong car and made gains all weekend. I’d love one day to be able to compete here again.”
